Introducing 2298 16th Avenue, a remarkable Spanish Mediterranean single-family in Inner Parkside/West Portal. Built in 1928, this gem of a home is gracing the market after decades of cherished ownership. With extensive period details and thoughtful updates, the residence embodies the perfect fusion of timeless elegance and contemporary comfort.

The ornate facade is warm and inviting, with arched windows, stucco detailing and terracotta roof. Step into the gracious entryway with floor to ceiling windows, indoor fountain and a stately staircase leading up to the main living level of the home. With hardwood floors and plaster moldings throughout, the home exudes sophistication and warmth. The exquisite formal living room features floor to ceiling arched windows, a marble-clad fireplace and soaring high ceilings. A generous dining room flows seamlessly into the adjacent den, light-filled with windows on two sides. The eat-in kitchen, which blends style and functionality seamlessly, features new quartz countertops, modern appliances and high-quality finishes.

With three bedrooms, four bathrooms, plus an office and game room, this home offers ample space for luxurious living. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, each with their own bath. Retreat to the primary suite, a bright haven of tranquility, boasting an extra-large bathroom with dual sinks, separate tub and shower, and a spacious walk-in closet. Walk out double french doors to an oversized sunroom bathed in natural light, with neighborhood views. The space offers a serene spot to relax and unwind.

Outside, a sweet landscaped backyard invites you to barbecue and garden. A large garage provides convenient parking and ample storage, catering to the demands of modern life.

And it is all in a prime Inner Parkside/West Portal location, conveniently close to public transportation, providing easy access to all the city has to offer. 2298 16th Avenue

One of San Francisco’s hidden gems, West Portal gets its name from the Muni Metro Station which runs through Twin Peaks Tunnel. Since the fog (known by locals as “Karl”) stops near the West Portal neighborhood, this is a great place to live if you enjoy bright blue skies. West Portal is filled with beautiful, traditional homes that are incredibly spacious. The Muni Station makes it easy for commuters to access the Financial District, Google, and the always-vibrant Union Square. Plus, Silicon Valley is easily accessible via the Highway 280, making West Portal a nice, central hub no matter where you work.

The Stern Grove Festival takes place every summer just outside of the southwest section of West Portal. Each Sunday from the beginning of June through mid-August, locals and tourists gather for a day of music, food, and fun. Even when the festival ends, there is still plenty to enjoy and explore at the Sigmund Grove Recreation Center including an off-leash dog park, several outdoor athletic courts and fields, a playground, and the Tracedro House, which is reservable for private events.

Enjoy the best of easy commuting and fun activities when you live in West Portal!
